Straightforward Policies. No Fine Print Games.

We believe rental policies should be clear, fair, and easy to understand.
Below you’ll find everything you need to know before renting from Workhorse Trailer Rental.

If you have questions at any point, just reach out — we’re happy to help.

Section 1: Eligibility Requirements

What You’ll Need to Rent

To rent a trailer, you must provide:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • A valid credit or debit card for payment and deposit
  • A tow vehicle capable of safely towing the selected trailer

We reserve the right to decline a rental if the tow vehicle or setup is unsafe or not properly equipped.

Section 2: Rental Periods & Pricing

Rental Periods

We offer simple, single and multi-day rental options

Longer rentals automatically receive discounted daily rates.

There are:

  • No hourly rates
  • No weekend pricing gimmicks
  • No hidden fees

The price you see is the price you pay.

Section 3: Security Deposits

Security Deposit Policy

A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals.

  • Deposits are collected at the time of booking or pickup
  • Deposits are refunded after the trailer is returned and inspected
  • Refunds are typically processed within 1–3 business days

Deductions may be made for:

  • Damage beyond normal wear
  • Missing equipment
  • Excessive cleaning required

We document trailer condition at pickup and return for transparency.

Section 4: Pickup & Return

Pickup

  • Pickups are scheduled in advance
  • We’ll walk through the trailer with you before departure
  • Hitch connection, lights, safety chains, and breakaway systems are verified

Most pickups take 10–15 minutes.

Return

  • Trailers must be returned by the scheduled return time
  • Trailer should be reasonably clean and free of debris
  • All equipment must be returned in the same condition as pickup

If everything checks out, your deposit is released promptly.

Section 5: Late Returns & Extensions

Late Returns

  • Late returns may result in additional charges
  • Extensions must be requested before your return time

If something unexpected comes up, contact us as soon as possible.
We’re reasonable — communication matters.

Section 6: Use & Responsibility

Proper Use

Our trailers are built for real work — but they must be used responsibly.

Renters are responsible for:

  • Proper loading and securement
  • Complying with all applicable laws and weight limits
